Big 'I do' for couples in love

A very big "I do" on the Southbank, as the Big Wedding weekend kicked off.

Seventy different couples are tying the knot over the weekend, in six separate ceremonies.

It's the grand finale to its summer long Festival of Love, in celebration of the year in which same sex marriage became legal.

The wedding package, which cost £1,000, included the registrar, ceremony, photography and entertainment throughout the day.

An additional £1,000 included a communal wedding feast for 40 lucky guests.

Despite having to to spend their special day with so many others - it was easy for the partners to persuade their other halves to get hitched so publicly.

With a little bit of Madness to round things off - it's pretty certain these couples will remember the ceremony for the rest of their lives.
