Crickets and bugs tickle tastebuds

It's enough to put you off your dinner - yes it's the return to London of Rentokil's pop-up Pestaurant.

The firm, more well known for dealing with infestations than infusions, has been running their unusual free food stall at various sites across the country, but made a popular return to One New Change in London.

The unusual menu offered brave foodies such various treats as sweet chilli pigeon burgers, Mexican spice mealworms and salt and vinegar crickets.

Pestaurant won Event of the Year 2013 in the Golden Hedgehog Awards an a In2 SABRE (formerly Silver Sabre) award for Best Live Event 2013 from the Holmes Group.

It will be the turn of Glaswegians to quench their critterly cravings next week when Pestaurant visits Buchanan Street near the Royal Concert Hall on August 27.
