His sidekick, heavy-drinking talking dog Brian, also makes an appearance in the picture, taking an interest in the corgis and with a pint in one paw.

Stewie's appearance in the christening picture is the latest step in his q uest for world domination which has seen him invent weapons of mass destruction and try to murder his own mother.

The DVD of the 12th se ries features a story called Chap Of The Manor in which Peter Griffin's British alter-ego, Neville, discovers he is related to the Queen.

It sees the family swap their couch for a sofa, tune in to Wheel Of Politeness on the TV and start drinking in a pub rather than their usual bar, The Drunken Clam.

The DVD, which features contributions from stars including James Woods and Cate Blanchett, is released on November 4.

It also includes Ricky Gervais' debut on the show where he play a dolphin in an episode called Be Careful What You Fish For.
