Giant Price sculpture stands tall

Eddie Sizer from Australia takes a picture of Network, a sculpture by Tom Price at a new exhibition at Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Visitors to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park will have to crane their necks when they encounter the latest work to go on display.

The sculpture, entitled Network, features a man dressed in modern clothes and holding a mobile phone - but is made entirely out of metal.

The work by British artist Tom Price, which stands nearly three metres tall, is part of an exhibition showcasing his work at the sculpture park near Wakefield.

The sculpture, which references our social relationships in a world where we are constantly connected through technology, is part of a solo exhibition which also includes animation and work on paper and runs until April.
