Pantomime dames take part in the 1km Dame Dash charity run to raise funds in aid of St Joseph's Hospice

Pantomime dames in weird and wonderful costumes have taken part in a charity running race.

The 1km Dame Dash through Hackney in east London raised money for the Hackney Empire and St Joseph's Hospice.

Organisers hope to raise thousands of pounds for the famous theatre and the hospice that cares for people with serious and life-threatening conditions.
