Lotto millionaire travels the world

A man made a millionaire by a Euromillions raffle ticket he bought in Morrisons has set off on a whirlwind tour of the globe.

Matt Myles, 27, from Hereford, was ready to throw away his Euromillions lottery ticket after failing to scoop the jackpot in Tuesday night's draw.

However, when Matt, an engineer, checked the raffle section of his ticket he realised that he had won £1 million.

He said: "I almost missed the raffle section and was about to throw the ticket away when the first three letters on the code caught my eye - PCC. I then checked the rest and couldn't believe what I was seeing, they all matched.

"I have quit my job and plan to spend the rest of the year travelling the world, visiting a new country each month. So far the plan is to start in Indonesia, then Thailand, next Brazil for the World Cup in June, before hiring a villa in Ibiza over July."
