Milkman attacked by 'goblin' robber

An attacker wearing a goblin mask attacked a milkman and stole his van in the early hours of the morning

Police are hunting a robber who used a goblin mask as a disguise during an early hours attack on a milkman.

The offender drove off with the victim's fully laden Dairy Crest milk van after kicking him in the face in Church Warsop, Nottinghamshire.

A police spokesman said the attacker, thought to be about 6ft and of slim build, was wearing dark clothing and a grey fancy dress-style mask.

The 55-year-old victim had stopped to make a delivery in Sycamore Street at about 1.30am when he was assaulted.

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses who might have seen the offender in the area or the Ford Transit milk van, which has not yet been traced.
