Miracle catch saves falling baby

A Chinese man has been hailed a hero after miraculously catching a baby that fell from a second storey window during a thunderstorm in Guangdong province.

The one-year-old had climbed out on to a window ledge to look for his mother when he was spotted by the man from the street below.

As the child slipped in the heavy rain, two men man reached out to catch him and one and managed to break the infant's fall. The boy was reportedly uninjured and swiftly reunited with his mother.

The dramatic scenes were captured by a CCTV camera in Zhongshan city.
