Wimbledon winner Andy Murray will appear in the 75th anniversary issue of The Beano comic, it has been announced.
Murray is the first British men's Wimbledon champion to appear in The Beano, although he has appeared in the comic in the past before Sunday's triumph.
In the anniversary edition, which goes on sale on July 24, Murray faces off against mischievous tom-boy Minnie the Minx in a game of tennis.
The anniversary issue will also feature a host of other famous faces, yet to be announced.
The Beano editor Craig Graham said: "The Beano celebrates its 75th anniversary this year and we've been working hard to put together an extra special issue that is packed full of menacing, pranks and jokes.
"We always planned to include Andy Murray in this amazing issue but we've reworked the strip to reflect his historic Wimbledon win.
"The issue will also feature special guest writers and illustrators, celebrity contributions and young comic genius Zoom Rockman's debut Beano strip. It's been a real honour to work on this extra special issue and we hope Andy and all our readers like it."
The Beano has featured famous British faces in past issues including the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, who are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland.
Other famous names such as Simon Cowell, Chris Evans and Olympic heptathlete Jessica Ennis have also appeared.
