London's green spaces are always popular in summer, but the royal parks now have some heady competition after a lawn was installed on the highest viewing deck of the Shard building in central.

The astroturf layer has been installed on Level 72 which stands 800ft over the capital and offers views for up to 40 miles on the clearest days.

Those with a head for heights can lay back on the "grass" with their heads in the clouds for the rest of the summer.
