Thieves clean up in pound shop raid

Thieves broke in to a pound shop stealing almost £5,000 worth of anti-dandruff shampoo, toiletries and floor cleaner.

West Midlands Police said the Pound Plus store in Dudley Road, Winson Green, Birmingham was broken into in the early hours of July 17.

According to officers, thieves stole Head & Shoulders and Palmolive shampoo, Colgate toothpaste, car air fresheners, cigarette lighters and Zoflora cleaning fluid.

The force has now released CCTV images of two people it would like to speak to in connection with the break-in.

Anyone with information is being urged to call police on 101.
