More than two out of five workers are having to take annual leave to do their Christmas shopping, according to a new study.
A survey of 2,000 adults by retail firm TK Maxx found that 25 to 34-year-olds were most likely to use holidays to buy festive gifts.
A TK Maxx spokesman said: "The research has found that Britons are struggling more than ever to fit all the Christmas jobs into their busy schedule. Their commitment to Christmas means many are taking time off work to ensure they fit it all in."
