Dining out on thriving restaurant industry

By David Elliot

In these times of economic strife you'd expect the restaurant trade to take a hit but anecdotal evidence suggests otherwise.

Trying to get a table on a Saturday night at short notice still seems to be a hit and miss affair and prior planning, something which tends to take the fun out of a night out, is always recommdended.

Then there's the new restaurants that are springing up such as The Fourth Wall not a million miles from where these words are typed.

It is great to see and long may we continue to treat ourselves despite the economic conditions because the explosion of quality restaurants, pubs and cafes over the last few years has helped Northern Ireland become a must-visit destination.
