Oil prices hit new record high of more than $146
Thursday, 3 July 2008
Oil prices have hit a new record high on the international markets today.
Brent crude was trading at more than $146-a-barrel for the first time, up around $4 from Monday.
The increase comes despite lower demand in the US due to the spiralling cost of petrol and diesel.
