Train-making company Bombardier is set to announce big job losses at its UK plant after losing out on a new carriage order.
Bombardier, a sister company of Bombardier Shorts in Belfast, will hold a media briefing at which it is feared it will announce up to 2,000 job losses among its 3,000-strong workforce in Derby.
Bombardier lost out to Siemens of Germany for a contract for 1,200 carriages as part of a £5m upgrade of the Thameslink rail route.
