Awards to celebrate best people around

Businessmen and women from all over Northern Ireland are celebrating after making the shortlist for a prestigious awards ceremony.

In the People of the Year Awards, Business Woman of the Year category, are Lynne Doherty of People Power Contracts in Belfast, Carina Duke of Pose Models and Promotions and Darlene McCormick of Life Communications, Belfast.

Shortlisted in the Business Man of the Year category are Eugene McKeever of McKeever Hotel Group, Co Antrim, Hugh Black, manager of the Victoria Square Centre and Peter Boyle founder and owner of Argento jewellery.

Shortlisted for the Entrepreneur of the Year award are Emma McCory of Rock Face Minerals, Lizzie Agnew of Atelier along with Julian Hollywood of Johnson Stevens NI Ltd and Trans Ocean NI.

This is the third year of the People of the Year Awards which take place on Thursday, September 16 in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, created by Northern Ireland’s longest-running glossy magazine Ulster Tatler.
