A textiles company in Co Down has announced a £5m deal to produce bed and bathware for a major outdoor clothing brand.
Bedeck, a family-run firm based in Magheralin, will launch the lifestyle collection for British fashion company Joules.
The Northern Ireland firm said the deal would "underpin" 350 jobs at its head office and at shops across Great Britain. Bedeck goods are sold to UK department stores such as Selfridges, Fenwick, House of Fraser and John Lewis - as well as in Bedeck stores.
Gary Irwin, joint managing director of Bedeck, said: "This will create a striking, iconic collection that we're sure will enhance the Joules brand.
"We're proud to demonstrate that top talent from Northern Ireland can create exciting, market-leading design work and we look forward to exporting our success across the UK and further afield."
Joules chief executive Tom Joule said: "Launching our first bed and bathware collection has been a great opportunity for Joules and Bedeck were the obvious brand to partner with."
Bedeck was founded over 60 years ago by the Irwin family. It also develops products for brands such as Designers Guild, Sanderson and Harlequin.
