Two Belfast restaurants have joined the A-list of top eateries in the UK at a top awards ceremony.
Shu and Mourne Seafood, Belfast, were awarded their Top 100 ranking at the 2012 National Restaurant Awards.
They join the likes of Michelin-starred The Ledbury in London and Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck in Berkshire.
Lisburn Road-based Shu also claimed the 'Best Restaurant in Northern Ireland' title at the event after impressing the judges with its innovative menu, designed by head chef Brian McCann.
Proprietor Alan Reid said: "We're incredibly proud of everything we've achieved at Shu since opening our doors in 2000."
Shu and Mourne Seafood are both taking part in the first ever Belfast Restaurant Week which runs until Saturday.
