Car parts supplier opens new store

An Armagh-based motor parts supplier is to open new premises this week with the aim of gaining new contracts.

Commercial Motor Products has invested £300,000 in a new store at Loughway Business Park, Newry. Three full-time jobs and one part-time post have been created to staff the premises, increasing the workforce to 12.

The company has been expanding gradually since opening its first branch in Armagh in 1990.

Director Mark Curran said: "The new premises will significantly increase our capacity and enable us to expand our reach across Ireland, both north and south."

The investment is being made with the support of Ulster Bank.
