Cash flow woes easing for the manufacturing sector

The "stubbornly high" number of manufacturers faced with rising funding costs has fallen to the lowest level since 2007, a survey claimed today.

EEF, the manufacturers' organisation, said new credit easing programmes may be helping with the percentage of companies seeing an increase in the cost of credit falling to 11.2% from 21.2% in the previous quarter.
