Belfast law firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin has been ranked in the top tier across 14 categories in the Northern Ireland section of the 2009 Chambers UK Guide.

The law industry directory, which provides independent rankings and editorial on solicitors and barristers in over 60 specialist areas of law in the UK, specifically mentions seven CFR partners as top advisers in their respective fields.

CFR managing partner Brendan Fox said: “To feature in the top bracket across 14 categories, and have many individuals singled out for their contribution to the profession, is a significant achievement which highlights the breadth and depth of our advice.”

He added: “This technical expertise coupled with a continued investment in client relationships and a strong commercial awareness is clearly paying off.”

The corporate and commercial law firm’s clients include FTSE 100 companies, entrepreneurs, private companies, developers, financial institutions, public institutions and high net worth individuals.

Categories where CFR’s strengths were recognised by the Chambers Guide included planning, construction, intellectual property, dispute resolution and real estate litigation.
