Monsoon Accessorize is one of the UK?s leading retail brands

Two leading UK fashion brands are to set up shop in Craigavon in October. Monsoon Accessorize and JD Sports have taken units at the Rushmere Shopping Centre, enhancing the retail offering at the complex.

This will mark the seventh store opening for Monsoon Accessorize in Northern Ireland.

Monsoon Accessorize has been most successful in establishing a strong brand identity. It caters predominantly for women and children.

Its womens and childrenswear ranges are complemented by what some may describe as the brand’s unique selling point, its jewellery and accessories collection by Accessorize.

Building upon the company’s success throughout the UK, Monsoon Accessorize Ltd will continue their store expansion throughout both the North and South of Ireland.

Similarly, JD Sports, who currently have 400 stores worldwide, have developed a reputation as the most innovative visual merchandiser of sportswear with the best and most exclusive stylish ranges including international brands such as Adidas, Nike, Reebok and Puma. The store at Rushmere will be the company’s eighth store in Northern Ireland, occupying 3,823 sq ft.

Rushmere Shopping Centre boasts an impressive weekly footfall of approximately 165,000 per week. The arrival of JD Sports and Monsoon will add to the existing fashion mix which includes retailers such as Next, River Island, H & M Hennes, Jack & Jones, Topshop, Tom Tailor, Esprit, Menarys/ Tempest, New Look, Debenhams, and TK Maxx.

Anne-Marie Murphy, a director of Savills Hamilton Osborne King acted on behalf of the landlord, Central Craigavon.
