A Belfast insurance firm has seen a 200% rise in business following a £300,000 investment in new premises.

Davison and Associates was established in 2009 by Brian Davison, as a father and daughter venture.

The business has expanded and, with the recruitment of four additional staff members, the firm has now moved from the Albertbridge Road to a new office at Ladas Drive in Castlereagh and is now reaping the rewards.

The company focuses on corporate, commercial and retail claims management, with a specialist understanding of major incidents.

Mr Davison said that the new premises, which are at the junction of a busy commuting and residential area, is the major reason for the company's substantial increase in turnover.

"The office is now in a great high profile catchment area for both commercial and residential business, which has inevitably helped drive growth," he said.

"With commercial property prices at more realistic levels, we were able to purchase the building outright and make an important investment in the future of the company," added Mr Davison.
