Northern Ireland’s creative and digital online media have been celebrated at a black-tie event hosted by comedienne Nuala McKeever at the Hilton Hotel in Belfast .

The DANI Awards, organized by Digital Advertising Northern Ireland brought together clients and agencies recognising the best of the digital industry from best app, social media, viral media, online strategy and web design. Invest Northern Ireland, Business First, Blueprint Appointments, University of Ulster and Chain Reaction Cycles supported the inaugural awards.

Founder of The DANI Awards Naomh McElhatton said: “The digital industry in Northern Ireland is growing at a rapid rate and it’s about time that those working in the industry are recognised for their work. In total eight awards were handed out for our inaugural year with the addition of a special award for a professional working in the industry that has contributed to the advancement of the online industry. I very much look forward to working towards next year’s awards and seeing the development in the industry one year from now”.
