Lingerie tycoon Mone set to inspire entrepreneurs

Wednesday, 17 March 2010

Scottish lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone will be bringing inspiration to Ballymena entrepreneurs when she headlines an evening of business speakers later this month.

The multimillionaire founder of the Ultimo brand and regular panellist of The Apprentice — You’re Fired will be speaking at the Business Ignition 2010 seminar at the Galgorm Resort & Spa on March 31.

The event’s organisers said it is aimed at those who aspire to start their own business as well as those with an existing business who are looking to go to the next level.

Jill Scroggie, of organiser Grove Sheridan, said: “The focus of |Business Ignition is to provide real, tangible information on how to go about stimulating success in a new or existing business venture, by hearing how it’s done from those that have already achieved a high level of financial success.

“I believe that Northern |Ireland is full of potential |‘mega-entrepreneurs’ that need to hear Michelle’s story.

“In the current economic climate, it can be hard to focus on a brighter future, but our aim is to prove to the local |business sector, that great things can be achieved — whatever the |financial circumstances, |national or indeed personal,” she added.
