M&S makeover creates new jobs

Over a dozen news jobs have been created in a Co Tyrone town thanks to the revamp of a Marks & Spencer store.

In total 14 specialist new posts have emerged from the makeover, which has given the Omagh store a new-look foodhall, improved clothing displays and a new bakery.

Store manager Brendan McManus said the new layout will make better shopping for customers.

"We can't wait for our customers to come in and see all of the changes we've made and try our new bakery," he said. "It's a really exciting concept and we are thrilled to receive the new look."

The new look layout has already been launched in M&S stores in Ballymena, Crescent Link in Londonderry and Enniskillen.
