A large site earmarked for a housing development has gone on sale in the Village, south Belfast. The land in the Broadway area extends to 4.5 acres and sits across from an existing housing development. It’s on the market for offers in excess of £600,000.

The development is being sold by commercial property firm Lambert Smith Hampton and offers are being accepted until noon on August 19.

Lambert Smith Hampton described the site as a “superb residential development opportunity”.

It is also selling a large manufacturing unit at Hillview Road, Belfast on behalf of business advisers PJG Recovery, administrator of Alom Properties. Alom Properties shares the same address and directors as T&A Kernoghan in Mallusk, which went into administration in April.

The unit is being sold off for use as a warehouse, or to be used for manufacturing. It’s a 57,000 sq ft site which sits on a two acre site.

It has gone on the market for £300,000.
