A Belfast-based company with vast experience in helping people to set up their own business has launched a training programme aimed strictly at professionals

The brand new Professionals Into Business course is aimed at those facing redundancy, those made recently redundant and professional men and women who wish to consider self employment as an option for the future.

The Professionals Into Business programme has been developed by Townsend Enterprise Park, who have been involved for over two decades in supporting hundreds of people setting up their own business.

Rather than adopt the ‘one size fits all' start a business training format which has been in place for the past few years in Northern Ireland, Townsend Enterprise Park has researched the specific training needs of this group of people who have the potential to create wealth and employment in our society.Townsend Enterprise Park already offers a wide range of business services including the delivery of training programmes, consultancy, mentoring and ICT advisory services to their tenants and small businesses in the Belfast area. In addition, the business also provides an accommodation address, secretarial services, call handling and ICT training to their clients.

Utilising this vast experience, Townsend's latest programme is an intensive, ten week full time training programme which will help participants make the transition to self employment. The Professionals Into Business programme has been designed to highlight and explain exactly what is involved in setting up on your own.The team at Townsend Enterprise Park already has a solid relationship and well-established links with the business community in a number of specialised areas.

Those who sign up for the Professionals Into Business programme will not only benefit from this but will also benefit from mentoring and support from Townsend.

And what's more, Townsend can also offer office space at the Enterprise Park, which will be free (subject to availability and certain terms and conditions) for their first three months of trading.

For further information, including the start-date for the programme, please call 028 9043 5778 or register your interest at www.professionalsintobusiness.com
