The Equality Commission for NI and Employers for Disability NI have come together to organise a half day seminar at Malone House, Belfast, to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The guest speaker was leading UK employment law barrister Catherine Casserley, from Cloisters Chambers in London.

A range of employers were given guidance on how to meet their legal duties, emphasising the importance of removing barriers to create an inclusive accessible workplace.

They also participated in workshop sessions on reasonable adjustments in relation to autism and sickness absence.
