£300k Ogilvie Fleet deal will 'drive down costs'

Ogilvie's Jim Humphreys delivers the new fleet to Sinead McCarry Bogle of Northern Materials

Vehicle leasing and management company Ogilvie Fleet has announced a new contract worth over £350,000.

Northern Materials Handling in Ballymoney has signed up for an initial delivery of nine Ford Transit vans in its first contract hire deal.

Ogilvie regional manager Jim Humphreys said: "Northern Materials Handling Ltd has been successfully trading for almost 30 years, always purchasing and servicing its own vehicles.

"We've demonstrated how contract hire can release working capital and deliver tax efficiencies and as such, they have worked out that their financial savings will be at least 30% with the added benefits of freeing up service engineers' time."

Sinead McCarry Bogle, executive director at Northern Materials Handling, said: "The contract hire deal offered by Ogilvie not only strips out significant costs but also allows us to redirect our engineers to meeting our customers' requirements."
