60 jobs at Sixty6 opening in time for Christmas drinks
Around 60 jobs will be created in a £400,000 investment as the latest venue in the Beannchor hospitality stable opens its doors.
Sixty6, a cocktail bar, nightclub and roof terrace, will open in December above the company's National Grande Café on High Street, Belfast.
The second phase of the Cathedral Quarter complex marks total investment of £1.1m in the entire Grade B listed venue, formerly the National Bank.
The National opened in September 2013 and employs 60 people.
The Beannchor group, owned by the Wolsey family, has around 50 pubs, restaurants and hotels including the Merchant Hotel.
The latest investment is unrelated to a recent deal where loans relating to the Merchant Hotel were acquired by Goldman Sachs.
