Aer Lingus increases European destinations

Aer Lingus said its winter 2011/12 schedule from Belfast International Airport will include six European destinations, including an extension to their service to Alicante, which will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Declan Kearney, the airline's director of communications, said: "In Belfast, our base goes from strength to strength." Other destinations include London, Rome, Tenerife and Malaga.
