Ambitious media firm has eyes on expansion as new jobs are created

By Heather McGarrigle

A Tyrone media company has created three new jobs with the opening of a new office.

Omagh-based Creative Media NI celebrated its 10th anniversary last year and says this is the first step in an "ambitious" growth plan.

Creative Media owner Marcus Isherwood said the company hoped to open more offices across Europe.

He said: "There are big, ambitious plans for expansion. As a company we are committed to grow the business significantly over the next three years with a particular focus on markets away from home. Regions identified are initially London and Russia.

"The target is to double the size of business away from home year on year for the next three years."

Two new staff have been recruited, with the company currently looking for a senior designer to join the team.

Mr Isherwood said the first move was strategic. "Opening the Belfast office not only gives a solid base to work from but also allows Creative Media to attract new talent to help realise the development plan for the agency. This is a very exciting time."

The company's design services include web design, advertising, copywriting and signage.

Law firm Allen and Overy, supermarket chain Aldi, Derry City Council and the Patton Group are among its clients.
