Apple a day style credit card scam

A NEW York gang stole credit card numbers online from data thieves, used the numbers for a million-dollar Apple Store shopping spree all over the USA, then boasted about it on Twitter. The scam, which scooped up laptops, iPads and iPhones was so successful that one member branched off to start his own syndicate and the original ringleader taught his girlfriend how to keep the scheme going while he was in jail, authorities said.
