Jewellery retailer Argento is investing £500,000 in its online and high-street business.
The Belfast-based company is aiming to increase its online market share and enhance customers' shopping experience.
Having created 60 new jobs across its 40 UK and Ireland outlets so far in 2012, Argento says the new funding will generate a further 10 jobs at its Northern Ireland headquarters by the end of the year.
The investment will also help to develop a warehousing delivery system and allow customers to video link with help desk staff.
Argento founder and chief executive, Pete Boyle, said: "We are lucky to have a very dedicated team and the right product behind the Argento brand, allowing us to put in place extremely ambitious expansion plans.
"Despite the downturn and the doom and gloom that surrounds retailing in the current climate, we are investing for now and the future and are confident that this will pay off in terms of our business, and for Argento customers."
The business sells designer collections including Pandora, Nomination and Thomas Sabo, plus its own line of costume jewellery brands; Karma, Disco Ball and Dirty Ruby.
Argento is currently recruiting for hundreds of temporary seasonal staff to work during the busy Christmas period.
