Armagh companies sign £20k welding machinery deal
Portadown firm Craigmore Industrial and Engineering Solutions has signed a £20,000 deal to provide a series of welding machines to Redrock Machinery Ltd. Craigmore will provide five EWM 400amp welding machines to Redrock, based in Armagh, to help the modernisation of existing machinery for its production process.
Redrock Machinery produces a range of agricultural equipment, from slurry-handling solutions, silage and grain trailers, silage blockcutters, vertical feeders, vari-cut mixer feeders to specialist trailers.
The Redrock range has been sold throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe over many years and in more recent days new markets have been developed in South Africa, Middle East, Far East and New Zealand.
Craigmore, founded in 1990, sells welding equipment, power washers, sweepers, scrubber-driers, safety wear, workshop tools and cleaning products from leading brands, to the public and businesses.
Geoff Baird, managing director of Craigmore, said the company had been proud to sell to Redrock for over 20 years.
"Throughout those years, we have supplied a wide range of engineering products which have performed a key role in their manufacturing process."
Alan Smyth, purchasing officer for Redrock Machinery, said the firm valued Craigmore "very highly".
