Asda cuts deal to feed homeless

DOZENS of Northern Ireland charities will benefit from a new partnership between Asda and food charity FareShare. Surplus food from Asda which would otherwise be wasted will be redistributed to FareShare in Belfast. Asda said it would save 58 tonnes of food from waste and see 138,000 meals served to the vulnerable and homeless.
