Belfast Harbour and Titanic Ltd in legal fight
A legal battle between Belfast Harbour and Titanic Quarter will go before the courts this week.
The former has commenced High Court proceedings against the latter in a dispute about a "master agreement" for development schemes at the location.
Land in the area is owned by Belfast Harbour Commissioners and leased to Titanic Quarter Ltd for development projects under the master agreement.
The dispute to be argued over this week concerns differing interpretations of that contract.
The case is listed for three days at the Royal Courts of Justice in Belfast, starting on Wednesday.
Both organisations have been involved in major developments over the last few years, including Belfast Harbour's City Quays project and Titanic Quarter's new hotel.
