Belfast law firm Francis Hanna & Co to join forces with major GB practice
A Belfast law firm has forged a new partnership with a debt recovery business. Francis Hanna & Co has announced it's joining up with Ascent Performance Group, a major debt recovery law firm in Britain.
A spokeswoman for Francis Hanna & Co said: "This relationship secures the Belfast city centre firm's position as a leading debt recovery litigation practice in Northern Ireland."
Linda Johnston, a senior partner in the May Street practice, said: "We are proud to have been invited to act as Ascent's Northern Ireland partner in their debt recovery work.
"We look forward to delivering a full range of legal services across Northern Ireland in partnership with Ascent."
It's the latest change to affect debt recovery practices in Belfast. Last year city centre firm MKB Law announced it was merging with debt recovery specialists McAlinden Solicitors.
And in December debt and insolvency expert McMcManus Kearney was taken over by national firm Shoosmiths.
It also changed its name to 'Shoosmiths'.
