These attributes play a vital role in the continued economic growth and prosperity of the Northern Ireland marketplace - particularly given the testing economic conditions that companies continue to work within.
Belfast City to London Heathrow is an important route for British Airways and crucial to the local economy. The service also provides connectivity for local business passengers and cargo traffic to the airline's extensive global network of almost 130 destinations worldwide from London Heathrow - essential for the continued development of business, commerce and tourism.
Business passengers can choose from up to six flights a day from Belfast City to London Heathrow with a wide range of departure times to facilitate the needs of all our customers, whether for day trips or for longer stays.
In addition to this, we also recently announced that our Belfast City flights will now be arriving into Terminal 5 at London Heathrow, rather than Terminal 1. The move means that our business customers will now find doing business easier than ever before. Customers will benefit from smoother and quicker connections through the airport to onward British Airways flights, with connection times reduced to 60 minutes, as passengers will not have to travel between terminals. Business passengers arriving into Terminal 5 and travelling into central London for business will have easy access to the frequent and fast Heathrow Express service into Paddington Station.
