BMI cuts Belfast flights

BMI today announced that it is reducing the number of rotations on its Belfast to London Heathrow route.

The flights will be cut from eight to seven per day with effect from October 25. Brenda Morgan, bmi Northern Ireland sales manager, said: “The two early evening flights which leave within 40 minutes of each other will be merged. This change in the winter timetable maintains adequate passenger capacity.”

The last flight from the George Best Belfast City Airport will be the BD93 departing at 7.40pm arriving London Heathrow at 9pm. The BD92 from London Heathrow to Belfast City Airport will depart at 7.30pm.
