Booker boost by 7% jump in sales

Cash-and-carry group Booker boosted sales by 7.6% in the 12 weeks to September 9 as fruit and vegetables sales jumped by 34%.

Like-for-like sales rose by 5.6%. Both the number of customers and the amount they spent increased over the period, Booker said.
