Sir Richard Branson's airline, Virgin Atlantic, is to start a new service to the Canadian city of Vancouver.
Virgin will begin four-times-a-week flights between Heathrow and Vancouver, on May 24 next year. The airline also announced it was starting a second Heathrow-San Francisco service which will operate three times a week, starting on March 26. Virgin Atlantic estimates the new route and increased frequency could create up to 430 jobs in both Vancouver and San Francisco.
