Bullet trains on hold after crash

China has halted the manufacturing of high-speed bullet trains after the collision last month that killed 40 people.

The government had planned to invest over $400 billion into controversial rail projects in the next five years. The premier has instead ordered thorough safety inspections on all existing high-speed rail lines.
