A Co Tyrone refrigeration company has increased sales by 30% and taken on 15 new staff after a major funding boost.

Ardboe Coldstore now has 60 staff and major clients include Dale Farm, Cookstown Sausages owner Karro Food and Lacpatrick Dairies after borrowing £500,000 from the Growth Loan Fund.

The company provides cold warehousing and distribution to food companies. Cash for the fund comes form Invest NI and investor the Northern Ireland Local Government Officers' Superannuation Committee.

Ardboe Coldstore managing director Eugene Carson said the company had also been able to set up in Co Londonderry.
