Centrica signs gas deal with Qatari producer
A Qatari state-controlled gas producer has signed a deal to sell up to 2.4m tons of liquefied natural gas a year to British energy company Centrica.
Qatargas said the three-year sales and purchasing agreement covers gas produced by its Qatargas 4 division. The fuel will be shipped to Britain's Isle of Grain terminal in Kent. Financial terms were not disclosed.
