Chamber urges help for creatives in Northern Ireland
The Government must do more to support creative people if the local economy is to thrive, the head of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce has said.
Nick Coburn, also head of Ulster Carpets, told a gala dinner hosted by the chamber last night that creativity and innovation were key to business growth.
He said Northern Ireland had many examples of companies that had embraced creativity as part of their operations.
Mr Coburn was joined by Hollywood producer Mark Huffam, who was interviewed by BBC2 Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark following dinner. Mr Huffam produced many Hollywood films, and Season One of Game of Thrones.
