'Chaos' of EU pull out offers opportunities, summit hears
Exporters have been warned to get ready for a post-Brexit 'roller coaster' at a trade summit.
However, companies at the World Trade Summit, hosted by Belfast Met, were also told that there could be opportunities in the chaos of the UK's departure from the European Union.
Speakers at the Belfast event included Thomas Glyndwr Powell, head of risk at Merchants Transaction Finance, who warned that exporters of a period of uncertainty ahead.
Last week's trade summit included delegates from a range of major exporters, from Environment Street Furniture and Caterpillar NI to Moy Park, ABP Food Group and SDC Trailers.
