City shopping centre boss bags award
The man in charge of Belfast's Kennedy Centre has been named the top centre manager in Northern Ireland.
John Jones won the award of Best Centre Manager in Northern Ireland at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
Mr Jones, who has managed The Kennedy Centre for eight years, also scooped second place in the All-Ireland Centre Manager of the year category.
Speaking after winning the award, he said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to have won such a high esteemed award and of course coming runner-up in the All-Ireland category.
"The awards come at a very exciting time for the Kennedy Centre, which has opened three new stores in the past few weeks namely JD Sports, The Card Factory and The Cookie Box, creating 60 new jobs.
"We are proud to say that the centre is now 100% occupied."
