Employees' lack of sleep 'costing Belfast firms £3m'
A third of workers in Belfast have called in sick to work due to a lack of sleep, a new study has claimed.
And it could be costing businesses around £3m every year in lost work.
The study into the effect sleep has on work was carried out by bed manufacturer Sealy UK.
Sealy's Neil Robinson said: "The research demonstrates what serious consequences a lack of sleep can have, not only on our day-to-day performance, but in terms of lost productivity in the workplace."
